Today we should go over some of the past years events with our kids. Sure they understand that today starts 2013 but it's not until they are a little older that they understand just how LONG the year really is. Start with a memory from about a year ago and then add in some things they have experienced or learned over the last 365 days! Go over the family calendar for 2012 before tossing it out. It's good for us to reflect and for the kids to appreciate time! Have a great New Years Day!
